Tobogganing in Saalbach
Experience tobogganing fun in the Glemmtal!
Anyone can do it, and it’s guaranteed fun for old and young alike – a descent on two runners! Tobogganing and sledging are a special winter delight with the fun factor guaranteed, and not just for youngsters. In the immediate area, a total of 3 well-groomed toboggan runs are at your disposal. Floodlighting on certain stretches also enables evening tobogganing, which has its own special charm. And don’t forget to stop off in one of the many cosy huts along the way for refreshments. Saalbach-Hinterglemm offers excellent runs in various difficulty levels, suitable for toboggan fans of all ages.
- Toboggan run on Kohlmais - approx. 2 km, floodlit, ascent approx. 25 minutes, toboggans for hire
- Toboggan run on Spielberg - approx. 3 km, floodlit, ascent approx. 45 minutes; you can also arrange to be dropped off at the Spielberghaus (prior appointments by telephone); toboggans also available for hire
- Toboggan run on Reiterkogel - approx. 2 km, floodlit, gondola use is included as part of a valid ski pass, only possible with in-house toboggans
- Toboggan run on Biberg - located in neighbouring Saalfelden, total length 6 km, well worth a visit
